Wrote a Banyan Service for the CaLANdar enterprise-wide, e-mail enabled group-scheduling package.  The service handled all communication with the Banyan mail transport, the Vines File Systems and the distribution of "Availability Data" in a WAN environment.  Designed and coded the system to handle transitory network failures and to make installation, configuration, performance, administration and troubleshooting reliable, predictable and dependable.  Wrote low level platform specific "C" code for the DOS, Banyan (UNIX) and Novell NLM environments as well as high level modules which where platform independent.  Coded functions to replace Code Runner TSR library based functions.  Worked with Beyond Inc. on BeyondMail to CaLANdar interoperability.  Handled all aspects of the Alpha and Beta testing program with Banyan Developer Relations.  Provided systems programming and technical support for the Banyan NOS and CaLANdar.  Wrote documentation and trained customer support personnel.  Presented a talk at a Banyan Developer's Conference on service development.  Gave CaLANdar sales and product demonstrations.  Worked on a Novell NLM for the Novell 3.x and 4.x platforms running MHS, NGM, other mail systems and CaLANdar.
